Okay, I'll admit, I'm such a child of the 80's that I can sing the entire Grease soundtrack, including the song of my subject title. So I figured there were others out there like me who might see the subject, sing a little, and then check out the topic.

What it's about is simple.... summer plans. What are you doing to do to love and take care of yourself this summer?

Me? I'm going to the beach for my birthday to sit and listen to the ocean waves and be reminded of the vastness and power of God.

I'm also weighing my options about summer clothing... Do I give up chocolate to fit into a smaller size or be content where I am? I'm wiping off chocolate chip cookie crumbs before I finish typing, so you can guess which option is winning.

What about you? What are you doing this summer? My hope is in talking about summer we'll get over the end of the year hump and clink a glass of virtual lemonade as we welcome in the summer fun!
